What products do you use?
I use a large range of makeup products - All my products are tested and hypoallergenic. My favourite brands to use are Nars, Makeup by Mario, YSL, Fenty, Givenchy, Huda Beauty & One/Size
do you stay up until I Get in my dress?
Yes, I will be there to top up and check your makeup after you get into your dress. We will also get some videos and photos with my professional lighting. This is included in my Bridal price. If you would prefer me to leave before this, please let me know.
why is bridal more expensive than any other makeup?
Bridal makeup includes pre-wedding contact and co-ordination, a fully custom and long lasting look using expensive high end products. It also includes dedication to your Bridal booking years in advance and the exclusivity to just you being booked on your day. My prices take into consideration my experience, skill and dedication. Your wedding is the most important day of your life and your makeup will be in photos for the rest of your life.
how long do you allocate for each person?
I allocate 45 mins per Bridal party member and 1 hour 15 for the Bride.
can you accommodate for large bridal parties?
My maximum Bridal Party is 7 people. For 8+ I work alongside a talented Makeup Artist.
can I bring anyone to my trial?
You can bring one other person to your trial as this is all my salon space will accommodate. Also - Too many cooks spoil the broth! We have a lot to get through at the trial. This is a look tailored to you and for you for your day.
Can You Recommend a hairstylist?
I have worked with lots of amazing hairstylists over the years. Check my recommendations page to see a few of my favourites.
what happens if you are poorly on the day?
In the very rare circumstance that I would be too poorly for your day, I would always try and find you an MUA of the same standard. I have a wide community of other MUA’s that I could ask. If I am unable to attend you will receive a full refund of your booking fee.
can my bridesmaid/mum have a trial?
Although not necessary, of course anyone from your bridal party can have a trial, I have even done trials for guests before. I understand for few it is a nerve racking and strange experience.
do you do lessons so i can do my own makeup?
I do lessons in person where you can learn your own face, step by step, with help from me. You can book this on my booking page. I also have virtual lessons coming up in the near future on this website if you are looking to do your own Bridal makeup or just understand the processes of your Bridal glam more. Keep your eyes peeled for tutorials!
do you also style hair?
I get asked this so much! No, I don’t currently style hair! I have too much makeup to be doing...🙈
